Paratunka magnetic observatory is an autonomous department of Institute of Cosmophysical Researches and Radiowave Propagation,
Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IKIR FEB RAS).
The main objectives of the Paratunka observatory include:
- regular long-term observations of various fields and processes;
- providing metrological characteristics of the registered data, parameter control, verification and calibration of standard equipment;
- development of equipment;
- testing equipment;
- conducting of field work;
- studies carried out on the subjects of monitoring.
